Given the propensity of this hobby to produce fake game worn jerseys, we are cautious of purchasing jerseys through an auction service. But that is not to say if you are very careful that you cannot find a very good deal on an authentic jersey but rather to remind you to use common sense when dealing through an e-mail address whether it is our classifieds ads or an Internet auction. Be sure to ask for documentation, references, etc. and clarify up front what happens if the jersey does not live up to expectations. Auctions can also be a good source of other sports memorabilia (game programs, pucks, ticket stubs, etc.) to compliment a jersey collection.
